An der University of California (UCLA) gibt es ein ganz besonderes Blondchen. Während wir erfahren, daß Alexandra Wallace tatsächlich weiß, was eine Bücherei ist und sich wohl auch dort hin verirrt hat, läßt sie in diesem Video, von dem sie anschließend behauptet, es hätte lustig sein sollen, so richtig das rassistische Dummchen raus:

„Horden von Asiaten“ stören sie damit, daß sie derzeit allüberall nach Asien, insbesondere Japan telefonieren und einfach keine Manieren haben…auch in der Bibliothek, während sie „political science theories and arguments and all that stuff“ studieren muss.

Armes kleines blondes Ding.

Mitlerweile hat sich Blondie entschuldigt:

“In an attempt to produce a humorous YouTube video, I have offended the UCLA community and the entire Asian culture,” Wallace writes in her apology letter. “I am truly sorry for the hurtful words I said and the pain it caused to anyone who watched the video. Especially in the wake of the ongoing disaster in Japan, I would do anything to take back my insensitive words.”

Ich neige dazu, dem Kommentar von „Mrs. Mom“ zuzustimmen:

„Somebody needs to slap that girl, then drop her in the middle of a third world country so she can get a little perspective. Relatives across the world are not going to know that their family member is in the library. They are just trying to let loved ones know they’re alive. I think a little understanding is in order. I’d be irritated if I was studying for finals, but I’d understand that there are bigger things going on in the world.

As a matter of fact, if finals are so important to this spoiled, entitled princess shouldn’t she have been studying instead of making videos that prove her insensitivity and ignorance?“
